Sunil Mungee is a disciple of the great Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki , a maestro of Indian music, who received one of the highest civil honors in India, the “Padmashri.” Sunil learnt various forms of Indian music and after grooming for more than ten years, Sunil began a journey as a performer of classical music. Since 1990 he has done number of concerts throughout the world like USA, Canada, Caribbean, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Kenya, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Nepal, Bangladesh, Singapore and Australia to name a few..
 
Sunil Mungee is one of the few artist from all over the world who has been bestowed with US CITIZENSHIP  under WOLRD MUSIC category by the government of the United States for "extra ordinary musical capabilities". 

His voice range and melody have given him the capacity to apply music as an art for healing, bringing about the power of music to heal. He has performed from the East to the West Coast in the USA for various organizations and music universities and has performed with British pianists in the UK, bringing about fusion of Indian Classical and Jazz. 

He has also shared the stage with maestros like Ustad Bismillah Khan Sahib, Pandit Jasraj, Sonal Mansingh, Ustad Ghualm Ali, Anup Jalota, Anuradha Paudwal, to name a few. 

Presently he conducts various seminars ,music workshops and regularly teaches worldwide through online sessions,  where he teaches traditional and basic Indian classical music, besides performing regularly all over the world for music lovers!!
